President's MessagePresident’s Message By Tami Bevan, CFSP, CFC, Chapter President May 2008 We’ve done it! Our website redesign is complete and we owe great thanks to Bridget Owers from Puget Sound Energy for all of her work on this project. If you haven’t already done so, check out this site to learn more about upcoming programs and events at both the chapter and association level. BFMA is known for its excellent educational and networking opportunities, so come join us! Another thank you goes to Karen Albright at Puget Sound Energy for speaking at our April dinner program meeting. She discussed PSE’s electronic forms RFP process and outcome. I recall Karen saying that she’d actually been working on this project since 1996 and now finally has an e-forms solution for PSE and is deploying their first enterprise form. It’s amazing at how long it can take to implement our ideas, but what a thrill for PSE to have finally conquered this one. I am looking forward to our May speakers from WorkflowOne and a presentation on their new web portal offering that utilizes Microsoft’s SharePoint software. From the program write-up, I think we’re in for a treat when viewing their live demonstration. I do hope to see you at this May 15, 2008 program! |
