This session talked about ways to devolve the task of creating and deploying forms away from the bastion of IT to the people who actually know how the processes work. Business processes start with getting accurate information into the hands of those who can work with it effectively. Technology makes it both easier to create and deploy rich forms, and simpler and easier for users to fill them out.

IBM Product Update

This program on IBM forms products included discussions of the following:
• Lotus Forms, IBM's 3.0 release from September.
• The new update of Lotus Forms which is due at the end of January which includes integrations with Process Server, and Filenet.
• IBM's announcement of a new Portal Accelerator, called Business Process Accelerator, which includes Lotus Forms and is due in Q2.
• IBM's Direction with Lotus Forms.
• Getting feedback from BFMA attendees on our plans and what we'd like and want in future releases.
